Castle Espie Wetland Centre
16 August 2020
Castle Espie Wetland Centre is located on the shores of Strangford Loch, not far from Belfast. It is full of ‘wetland wildlife’ with all sorts of types of ducks and geese roaming freely. You can buy some food and feed them as you walk around the parkland. There are viewing areas where you can look through telescopes too. There is also a fab playground and lovely garden to explore as well as the visitor centre with cafe and shop. Make sure to bring a change of clothes for the kids for the woodland play area – there is a rope over a swamp which is lots of fun but mucky too!
