Cool Planet Experience
The Cool Planet Experience is located in Powerscourt Estate in Enniskerry, It is an interactive experience for the whole family (probably best suited for kids over 5). You begin by answering some questions to work out your carbon footprint and then proceed through a series of interactive rooms to find out how you can reduce your footprint, help the environment and save the planet.
As well as taking the tour Cool Planet also host kids workshops during the year. L and A have taken part in three to date. In the first one they learned about plant life cycles and planted bean seeds. In the second one they made environmentally friendly slime and the science behind it. In the third one they learned about simple electrical circuits and made Christmas cottages that lit up.
