Explorium is a science and sports centre located in Sandyford, South Dublin. It’s well worth a trip, though it is pricey. For younger children there is Junior Explorium with lots of hands on activities to engage with as well as a small outdoor are with a great slide. For those age 7+ (although they are not strict on age) there is Explorium itself. Here you can engage with lots of different scientific activities including the anti-gravity room.
There are a few activities that have age restrictions, such as the bike where you can do a 360 degree rotation and the VR room (8+). There is also the sports area where you can try out the indoor climbing walls, penalty shoot outs and indoor caving. We have yet to try these activities but they look great!
Finally, there are a couple of cafes on site should you want refreshment!
Both L and A have really enjoyed their visits and are eager to return one day!
