National Museum of Ireland – Archaeology
21 August 2020
The National Museum of Ireland has four locations – three in Dublin and one in Castlebar, Mayo.
The Archaeology Museum is situated in Kildare Street in Dublin city centre. It is easily accessed by public transport and admission is free. There is plenty to explore – from a bog body to gold jewellery to the ancient Egyptian room.
When you arrive make sure to pick up an activity trail sheet. There are fun things to find and activities to complete as you move around the museum. This keeps the kids occupied and entertained. You should also keep an eye on the website as there are often workshops and family events planned at the museum.
