Science Week
19 August 2020
Science Week is run by the Science Foundation of Ireland every year in November. It is a week long event full of science activities that takes place around the Ireland. We headed along to one of the events in 2018 at the conference centre in Dublin and had a blast. There was an area where the kids could do hands on science activities and then various rooms to explore more activities and workshops (in one they made little mini lightsabers with LED bulbs and straws). There were also shows you could attend and we saw Scientific Sue (one of our favourites, we’ve been to a number of fantastic shows) and a family physics show where Mark even got called up on to the stage to help with a unicycle!
