This is a simple, fun and easy activity for young kids. We used the bottom of pencils for the dot effect but you could use anything similar from around the house. I stuck a template of a shamrock to a piece of paper with blutack (for easy removal) and had the kids ‘dot’ green paint around the edge of the stencil. Once the paint had dried we pulled off the template to reveal the shape of the shamrock outlined by the green dots. Simple yet effective and a nice decoration for St Patrick’s Day!
