The Maker Festival
Another of the fabulous family friendly summer festivals in Dublin. This is a wonderful day, part of the Festival of Curiosity, but a super event that deserves its own blog post!
At the Maker Festival various companies, charities, university groups, after school clubs, artists, etc can man a stall and showcase their work, their creations, whatever they like! It’s a place where you can try out various activities, build a simple robot, do some science experiments, watch some demonstrations, try out a printing machine, watch a 3D printer in action and more! There is so much to do and, when you need a break, there is space for a picnic or food vans to buy delicious street food from along with live music and games in the park to enjoy. It’s free entry too!
