Castlecomer Discovery Park

Castlecomer Discovery Park is located near the village of Castlecomer in Co Kilkenny and is well worth a trip! There is free parking and a lovely large cafe/restaurant as well as a great playground. Go further into the park and there are lots of activities to try out.

L and A enjoyed a high ropes course and the bouncing nets. Mark tried out axe throwing! We enjoyed exploring the woodland and the elf village too.

For older kids there is even more on offer – archery, Ireland’s longest zipline, a climbing wall and a tree top walk. There is also boating available but we didn’t try it out this time.

The bouncy nets were certainly the highlight for L and A as they were different to anything they had seen or done before!
