
Christmas Sugar Cookies

2.75 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter
1.5 cups white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
Mix all the ingredients together in the bowl. Then use your hands and knead the dough into a ball. Take the ball of dough and place it onto a floured surface (to stop it sticking). Using a rolling pin roll out the dough and use your cookie cutters to create the shapes. Place the cookies onto a baking sheet covered in greaseproof paper and bake for 8-10 mins at 180 degrees celsius.
Once cooled decorate with icing, sprinkles, etc.
Tip – gingerbread men turned upside down make great reindeer shapes! See photo below!
