Cinnamon Scented Salt Dough Ornaments

Salt dough is always a fun activity and to make it more Christmassy we added cinnamon to our recipe. This made it a darker colour but also made it smell soooo good!

The recipe is:

2 cups all purpose flour

1 cup salt

1 cup cold water

Cinnamon (I didn’t measure!)

When L had finished making the shapes with cookie cutters I used a pencil to poke holes in the decorations before cooking them to harden them. Once cooked and cooled you can thread string or ribbon through the hole to hang your decorations from the tree.
