Construction Themed Party

I love a good party with a theme and for L’s 2nd birthday I had my first proper opportunity to do one! L loved construction vehicles, as many little ones do, so the theme was easy to pick. We had a construction theme cake made. I used a template online for his invitations and thank you cards that I was able to personalise. We used some of Lucas’ construction toys to add to the theme of the party and I printed off labels for the food to keep with the theme as well – crisps became wood chips, mini doughnuts became spare tyres, etc. Finally, the party favours were also construction themed with M and Ms (pebbles) and a little mini digger toy too as well as a thank you card.
