Lanzarote
We spent a week in Lanzarote a few years ago. It is the only full board holiday we have done. We stayed at the H10 Rubicon resort. Full board can work out expensive but it also has the added benefit of including everything and you don’t have to think about food and drink at all.
The H10 Rubicon is a wonderful hotel with swimming pools, a variety of restaurants, a kids club, sand pit, playground, mini golf, giant chess, shop, table tennis tables and evening entertainment. It is also close to the coast and we found a little beach for the kids to play on. The only downside we found was that our hotel room was quite far from anything – it is a large resort!
We were able to fly directly to Lanzarote from Dublin and there was a shuttle bus to bring us to the hotel so getting there was very easy. As there was plenty to do at the resort we didn’t explore the rest of Lanzarote – this would be something I would like to do in the future however! There was a shuttle bus to the nearest town daily for guests to avail of.
