Malahide Castle
15 March 2021
Malahide Castle is a beautifully preserved castle in north county Dublin. Parking is free and there is plenty of it. Tours of the castle are available and we thoroughly enjoyed ours.
Once you’ve explored the castle take some time to explore the grounds. The gardens are beautiful and there is also some woodland. Walk through the woodland and you will come to a fabulous playground, complete with a wonderful sandpit.
When you’re feeling hungry check out the Avoca cafe and giftshop – delicious food and lovely gifts are available.
There is also a landtrain that shuttles visitors to the castle from the castle to the village and back again – L and A waned to ride on it for a bit of fun so we did!
