Minnie Mouse Party

Minnie Mouse was the theme for when A turned 3. We used pink and black balloons, a large 3 balloon, a papier mache 3 painted in white and pink, a pink tablecloth and a Minnie Mouse cake along with pink plates, napkins and cups and a Minnie Mouse Happy Birthday Banner  to help the theme come together. I found a Pin the Bow on Minnie game that I printed out for the kids to play.

I printed out Minnie Mouse food labels and bought a large and a small Minnie Mouse cookie cutter. The small one came in handy for cutting out Minnie Mouse watermelon shapes to top the fruit skewers! The large one I used to make cookies and decorated them in pink and black icing. I also used, for the first time, food glitter – this was fun to spray on the cookies and really made them sparkle! I also used the large one to cut the sandwiches into Minnie Mouse shapes. I used marshmallows dipped in white chocolate and sprinkles to make marshmallow pops. Bow shaped pasta salad added to the fun of the theme too!
