National Transport Museum
14 March 2021
Did you know Ireland has a national transport museum? It is a hidden gem, tucked away in a shed near Howth, Co Dublin.
It is run by volunteers and only open on weekend and bank holidays. The museum has a large collection of vehicles dating from as far back as 1884. There are old buses, trams, fire engines and more.
When you visit you are free to walk around and look at the vehicles. Tickets are €3 or €8 for a family. A great day out for anyone with an interest in vehicles and transport.
