Roasted pumpkin seeds
11 March 2021
If you’ve been pumpkin picking or simply bought a pumpkin at the supermarket there are lots of ways to use it! When you have used the flesh to make soup or pie don’t bin the seeds.
Place the seeds in a colander and run under cold running water to help clean them. Then lay them out on a tray and let them dry overnight.
Once dry season them with a little salt and pepper. Grease a baking tray with a little butter and spread the seeds out on the tray.
Roast the seeds at 120 Celsius in the oven for about 45 minutes. Enjoy!
