‘Squeegee Eggs’
13 March 2021
I love experimenting with the kids with various ways to paint. We created these squeegee eggs for Easter a few years ago. We cut out paper egg shapes and then the kids chose the paint colours they wanted. I squirted small amounts of their chosen paint colours on the eggs and then they used a window ‘squeegee’ to spread the paint on the eggs creating the cool effect you see below. This technique could be used for other activities of too of course, not just decorating eggs for Easter!
