The National Railway Museum, York, England
12 March 2021
A few years ago we spent a weekend in York. We saw the famous cathedral and even walked on part of the walls that are still standing. However, for L and A, the highlight of the trip was a visit to the National Railway Museum.
The museum is a fascinating journey through the history of rail. It is hands on and interactive. Many of the trains you can board and there is also a mini train outside that you can ride on. You can dress up and there is a train set to play with as well.
As with most museums there is a cafe and a shop if you fancy some lunch or a souvenir!
